2012, The Year of Purity

To understand the meaning of the 2012 PURITY banner as depited in the above colorful image follow 'Read more tab' to reflect on the declaration that interperates the banner.

Dr Mensa Otabil the General Overseer at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana and in the presence of  people from all walks of life, ushered in 2012, “Our Year of Purity”. He admonished Christians to dedicate their lives to God to fill them afresh with His Holy Spirit so as to live victorious lives in our year of Purity.

The Lord my God is the King of Glory

He has called me out of darkness into His marvelous light

I present my body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God

And declare this year

As my year of PURITY

In this year, I pledge to serve God with a clean heart, clean thoughts and clean hands

Create in me a clean heart O Lord and renew a right spirit within me

Lord, Shine your light through me

Make me a vessel of honor

Use me for your glory

I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and King

am what God says I am

I am a New Creation in Christ

I am Redeemed

I am Renewed

I am Restored

I set my heart on things above

I meditate on that which is true, noble, pure and virtuous

Because I seek the Lord with all my heart, I will find Him

It is written, “he who has clean hands will be stronger and stronger”,

So I confess that:

I am strong in spirit

And strong in faith

Today, I ascend before God’s presence

And boldly announce:

Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!

Let the King of glory come in

The King of Glory is the Lord strong and mighty

He is alive in me

He is strong in me

He is magnified in me

In the name of Jesus, I embrace this year as

My year of PURITY

My Heart is right, my Thoughts are pure, my Hands are clean

Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable to you O Lord my Rock and Redeemer

In Jesus name, Amen.
